For low-risk chest pain
Inclusion criteria:
- Chest pain (non-traumatic) - including pressure, heaviness, tightness, discomfort, and where resolved
- No obvious significant illness or other likely diagnosis requiring hospital-based care, including suspected acute coronary syndrome and/or ischaemic ECG changes, arrhythmia, shock, suspected abdominal aortic aneurysm or dissection, suspected pulmonary embolism (especially where the patient is short of breath or has relevant risk factors), sepsis and pneumonia
- Not pregnant
- Not in an altered conscious state (GCS < 14)
- Where a troponin is able to be measured at that time
